Academic Qualifications

Since leaving England in 1979, studying in Britain has been one way of keeping in touch with my own culture. Most post-graduate study was done during summer "vacations" in England or by distance learning. I have particularly fond memories of the many summers spent studying at the Centre for Applied Language Studies, at Reading University, where we came to take excellent teaching for granted. Much of what was learnt there has been "applied".
